Pathways International is a US 501(c)3 organization based in North Carolina and operating in the Cloud Forest regions Of Ecuador.The Pathways Ministry House, located in Mindo serves as the launching point for our mission to make disciples and encourage national believers in Ecuador. The Pathways Ministry House also serves as a hosting faciltiy for short to long term missions teams and a retreat center for those needing to find direction, peace, or spiritual healing.

Mindo Ecuador is aproximately 5000 feet above sea level, and is home to nearly 4000 people within a 7km radius

Mindo Ecuador is a major tourist area and a stop over location for many Ecuadorians traveling from Quito to the Coast or vice versa. The average income is less than 200.00 dollars per person and it is extremely difficult to find work in the region.

While the cities in Ecuador have large sections above the poverty level, outside the cities can still be considered "third world." Throughout the mountains, jungles, deserts and rain forests of Ecuador, countless homes have no windows, no electricity, no running water or plumbing, and no help from the local government. The people survive each day through hard work and the hope that tomorrow will be better.
